Circle of Life

I created my work called "Circle of Life" entirely in Procreate and Photoshop as a
digital drawing/painting. All of the elements in this artwork are hand-drawn.
It is inspired by Salvador Dali and other great artists from the Surrealism Art
movement.

When I started it I didn’t really have an idea or a plan on what to do. It really just happened
and evolved while I was working on it. I always like to say “Art is destruction and recreation”
and that is exactly how this piece came together. The only thing I knew was that it is
supposed to be a Surrealistic drawing and I wanted to pay homage to my favorite painter
Salvador Dali (therefore the mustache).

It is very much open to interpretation what it is, as art should be in my opinion. All I
can say is that it depicts technological revolution, nature, death, destruction and
decay that we humans bring upon ourselves and our planet we live on.
